Paint problem...

I use Apple Barrel, and other craft type hobby paints, I know blah blah "switch to hobby paints..." blah blah, I don't wanna just yet. I'm gonna get these to work like I did before!

Anyways, with the exception of switching brands and such, I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem I'm having.

My paint either comes out spattery, so I change the pressure, and it still spatters, so I thin it, and then it's too thin, and separates on contact. These worked before Damnit! Look at that Saleen I painted! fcuk. So, I read somewhere that dish detergent helps to break surface tension, so I was wondering if adding a few drops might help the paint and rubbing alcohol blend a little better?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Paint problem...

I would try different thinners such as windex or a mix of IPO and water. I friend uses a tiny tiny amount of plain liquid soap and he gets good results but then again... he uses "hobby paint"

Is it possible that they changed their formula. Sometimes companies will do that.
