Question Buying a Lumina

I have always owned foreign cars, but my Honda has well over 200000 miles and I am trying to find something else. I found a 97 Lumina for a very good price, but I don't know anything about them. I have been reading all these threads and I am kind of scared. I would just like someone's opinion before I buy it tomorrow.

Re: Buying a Lumina

What is the price,condition,mileage.
I had the same concerns. The only thing wrong with these cars is the manifold, but i can swear by these cars. I have a 99 and love it. Great power and real good on gas.

Re: Buying a Lumina

ya, hondas are great, long lasting cars, but aren't very quick. General rule of thumb when buying, if it was taken car of, and you take car of it, it will last forever. This is true when buying any car. I love my lumina, 42,000 miles, and never one singal problem, nothing at all. If you buy it, I know you will like it. It will smoke the shit out of that honda.
