When she turns the car? By that do you mean turns the steering wheel? If so check the power steering belt.. probally loose.

does it sound like a jet?... cause by doing the intake snorckle mod you're also making the torbo sound louder. the dump tube block is a way mitsu try to tone down the turbo sound.

Re: turbo squealing like crazy HELP! I think...

did you just cut the dump tube or did you saw the snorckle and connect it with a metal pipe. it either has nothing to do with what you did or i'd check the connections btw the turbo and the intake.

also do you have a boost gauge?.. what boost are you running. i would also check the PS belt. our cars seems to sqeal a lot. from belts to wheels. LOL.... most of the time they don't affect anything.

Re: turbo squealing like crazy HELP! I think...

Make sure all of your belts are tight like RiceRocket says. It could be any of your 3 power belts found on the on the driver's side. Another possibility is you could have dropped something into the intake hose as as you were removing the snorkel and cutting it. If this is the case, your turbo is probably not going to be happy about sucking up a piece of plastic/metal/wood/etc., and could be causing the noise. First step is check your belts for tightness and adjust the mounting brackets accordingly.

Re: turbo squealing like crazy HELP! I think...

Please explain why you think it's the turbo. If it happens more when you turn the car, it's a steering and suspension problem. If the noise changes pitch with boost, then you can assume its a boost leak or turbo problem.
