My antenna on my corvette is out. I know it was the antenna because I could hear the motor running. So I ordered a new antenna but the instructons were for the wrong car and I cannot find the right ones for my car to replace the antenna. Does anyone know how to replace a '93 lt1 corvette antenna or know where I can find instructions?Thank you |

Just the mast??? If thats it just remove the retaining nut on the top of the quarter panel turn the radio on and pull up on the mast and out it will come. to install feed the plastic tube down untill it stops then turn the radio off and it will pull it right in then replace the retaining nut and your done.
Its a big help if you have a friend work the radio on and off so you can be outside working the mast. |

The below instructions are from website alldata.com
Rear Antenna (Coupe Only) Rear Antenna (Coupe Only) Remove or Disconnect Open rear lift window (hatch). Rear floor stowage compartment handle. Separate hook and loop fastener from stowage compartment doors and roll carpet back over rear panel. Fold down carpet insulator to access antenna. Harness connector. CAUTION: Before drilling out antenna rivets place a stop on drill bit 1/4 inch from the tip to prevent drill bit from passing too far through the body panel and puncturing fuel tank. Puncturing the fuel tank could result in fuel leakage and possible fire causing personal injury or property damage . Drill out mounting rivets. Antenna by pulling firmly on each adhesive pad. Install or Connect Rivet antenna to body panel. Harness connector. Reposition carpet insulator. Reposition carpet. Stowage compartment handle. Close rear lift window. |
