2000 Neon- NOISY rear brakes
2000 Neon that has had noisy brakes from day 1. You would think that the front brakes would be the culprit but it's the rear shoes. Have taken the drums off twice and cleaned them and they still look new but within a month the irritating noise is back. I'll replace the shoes if that's the problem but what brand should I go with? I'll even replace the drums if that will fix the problem. Anyone have the same problem? Thanks John

Re: 2000 Neon- NOISY rear brakes
Neons are notorious for rear brakes squeaking. Something about moisture...etc..there is a desqueak spray, that can be applied to the shoes after cleaning thoroughly, and the drum..
