Short Throw Shifter???
It seems to me that maxima's especially could benefit greatly from reduced throw when changing gears, seeing as the gearbox is sooo tight. Anyway, I've been looking at different STS's - from custommaxima.com/customenterprise.com and even ebay. Does anyone have good experiences w/ ebay short throw shifters? It doesn't seem that it would make much difference where I get it from since it's basically the same design, but what do I know. Any opinions are welcome and appreciated.

While you're right about one STS being the same as another, it's the fitment issue that you need to watch. Only a few STSs work well with the Maxima; I wish I could tell you which ones they are but I don't have 'em memorized (damn you, auto tranny)
