Re: Vtec?

VTEC (Variable valve timing and lift electronic control) was introduced in the 1990 NSX as a method of squeezing more power from a given displacement without resorting to forced induction (Turbos and superchargers). Basically, it means you have two sets of lobes on the camshaft that alter valve lift and duration as well as timing.
