intermittent tach, speedometer, and trans

silverado 3500 automatic

intermittent tach, speedometer, [go to zero]and can't shift out of second gear. is this a faulty ignition switch wiper?

Sure sounds like it. Check the trans fuse for 12v with the ignition on, if its significantly lower than battery voltage, the switch is probably the problem
