Question Cigarette Fuse issue

alright.. I just joined specifically becuse of this problem..
I have a 99 grand am se
and the fuse in the Cigarette lighter is blown...
I have the hayes manual as well as the owners manual that comes with the car.. and I cant find which fuse to replace.. then only thing that comes to mind is that that GM calls a Cigarette lighter something else..
thanks for you help

NOTE: I got it fixed.. incase anyone runs into the same problem it is a 2 amp fuse (#34) in the fuse relay box under the hood

Check the fuse boxes on either side of the front; u know the ones u can get to when u open the doors; if the sticker on te cover doesnt say it just look for a blown fuse

I did check all of the fuses.. I pulled all of them out and they all semed to be fine. I know I did not short out the battery or something because the car still starts and everything else works.

Re: Cigarette Fuse issue

the cig lighter is also a courtesy item so look for your courtesy fuse that also runs other convenient things like the radios memory.

Maybe your cig lighter is bad, did you check for power to it?
