Arrow Please help with dvd mounting!!

I have a 01' ZX3 and had put in a Kenwood 2Din DVD player...my issue is what can I use to put around the frame because it isn't curved like my dash and the top and bottom hangs out about 1/4 in. Anyone got ideas of what to put around it to make it look nice? I put some dynamat around it and tried smoothing it out but it looks like caulking and wont stay smooth..please help! I'll post pics today of what it looks like and see what you think. Thanks!

Re: Please help with dvd mounting!!

I would either buy the normal dash kit for that car and cut the top and bottom off then use those...or just buy a piece of ABS plastic (should be able to get from local install shop, (or i can get you one also if you need one...there about 1 square foot, black, and run about $15.) and make your own kit.

with this ABS plastic..do you just use a heat gun to form it? If so that would probably be the best way to go for me. Thanks for the help!
