Thumbs up HSV

The neighbour is a Ford man, he wanted a new car so he drove a brand new XR8 Falcan and came home with a HSV, He paid more money for a secondhand HSV than a brand new XR8. What does that tell you.

It doesn't tell me fords suck (although they do ). Actually, the XR8 is kinda cool.
I also love HSV. I wish they were over here (they are good BMW replacements, or the new Caddy Catera)
Awesome V8's, good handling, etc. Awesome cars, Australia's best!!

I agree. I know they would do well in Canada at least (we are a mix of European and American tastes, just like Australia). THey are just so awesome. I can't stress the value of them enough. 0-60 in 5 second for a $30000 (American) 4 door sedan! That is unheard of over hear!
Uh, it just makes my so mad and frustrated (is that bad??)

I don't lack faith in Domestic (US) car manufacturers, but I think the reason domestics suck is because of the strict smog regulations in the states. The GTS is a perfect example of unrestricted design. It pisses me off that everything in the states has to be so clogged up the ass with resonators an small piping. Owell. guess I'll move to Japan or Germany someday.

Actually, HSV's use the same LS1 engine the Camaro, vette, etc. And smog protection is good, in my mind. I want to be able to breathe the air I'm driving through.

I could see the 12 inch stock. We have a 560 watt system in new Firebirds (its called Monsoon).
