1985 Gran Fury Starter

Hi, I've had my 85 GF 318 for about two years now; just passed 80k but I've driven it pretty hard. I think the starter is going out and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to tell for sure or on replacing. The symptom is essentialy that it won't start (duh). I crank the key, and it almost turns over, but doesn't make it. Tomorrow I am gonna clean my carb (its got some build up) and see if that does it, but.... any other thoughts? Thanks!

Try charging your battery and checking the alternator

You also may want to check the power cable to the starter, the fuel pump, and fuel line.
