Re: saab t3 turbos(3) excellent cond.
Anyone have any info on these? Are they really an upgrade from a 14b?
Got any numbers on flow rates, etc.? What model saab are they from, how many miles....? What is required for them to be adapted onto a DSM, etc. And how much are you asking for them? Sounds good, but we need some more info!

Re: saab t3 turbos(3) excellent cond.
If you aren't going to inform us why we can use these turbos, they probably aren't going to get sold. I have a hard time believing that a saab t3 is an upgrade from a 14b, but in any case I wonder what kind of trim, wheels they use...

Re: saab t3 turbos(3) excellent cond.
my friend whos next to me had a 14 b and wondered why he even kept that thing around after he tried this one of course, yes needs a adapter plate, yes i am working on the adapter plate probably be a couple of days before i have one made, turbo kicks in at about 14psi @ 2800-2900 and pulls very hard till redline, my friend went from 13.7 with a 14b pushin 20 psi with 110 race gas and he ran a 14.1 with the t3 pushin 12 psi and had 91 octane now if he had 110 race gas and 20 psi were expecting him to do low 13's easily at 4400 feet above sea level so at a sea level altitude there would be an even greater gain so. tons of guys are doing this up here (utah) because the air is less dense and you need to flow and boost more, we had taken two of the the turbos apart and the wheels are inbetween a small 16g and a evo big 16g, im looking to get 100.00 plus shipping and when we get the adapter plate made up that will probably be about 50-60 (im guessing) for the flanges to be cut by a laser and welded so i will let you guys know.

no they are from the saab 900 and 9000 turbo fwd cars i tried calling a couple of turbo shops and they said that garrett t3's didnt come with a trim for the compressor. i have the numbers on them they are .42, .48. so i can upgrade them for ya for just the cost

Re: saab t3 turbos(3) excellent cond.
saab turbos are allright. i used to work with a guy, who's now the saab Manager here @ the local sabb dealership. all he could talk about was how saab performance was unmatched, and really did nothing but brag about the turbo on his 9-5. i finally took his car for a drive. i was impressed, but for $45, i could find somthing funner to drive then a moose caged, swiss grandma getter.
