repairing broken subs

Okay, so my friend got a new system in his car, and i asked him out of sarcasm if he would just give me his old ones that have been sitting in his room. He origonally had them in his car, but the one of the 12's got damaged from objects hitting against it resulting in cracking the cone on the sub. I was just curious if there is anyway of repairing these? would rubber cement work? or what should i use?

Re: repairing broken subs

A freind told me that nailpolish (prolly would want to use the clear kind) would seal really well, but of course, it depens on how much damage was done.

I had a 12" Alpine Sub that the cone got damaged. To correct it I used " Hard As Nails " It is like nail polish but it is used to strengthen nails. It filled the dent and it was bumpin' like nothing ever happened. Hope this helps !
