I went with the mid firmness, won't chirp my tires and won't be overly noticeable, but can feel a real shift. No more rpm fluctuation duiring a shift.

Re: Thrasher shift kit

Been emailing Thrasher for two weeks, trying to get some information on their shift kits. Have never heard back from them. Do you have an site that list their kits. Can't find it on their normal site. Thanks

Re: Thrasher shift kit

Thanks, I heard with that kit you need the buy the springs from GM for 1st and 2nd. Or better springs?
Kit has been ordered, will check on springs. Thanks again

I actually got my kit off of ebay for $30. The guy always has them on there. I thought it was rediculous that they charge $80+ for 4 springs and some brass spacer bushings.

Re: Thrasher shift kit

Thanks, that will save some money. If I put any more money into this car, I'll have to sleep in it. That's what the wife says anyhow.

Re: Thrasher shift kit

dont put one in if you have high milage, Can barley tell a difference (only when cold) and I have it set on stage 2 (mid) It would be a waste of money if you have High milage (personal opion)

Mine is 190,000 km and set it on max. It chirps on 1-2 and very nice on 2-3.
