00' needs diet.
Anyone recommend some affordable ways to lighten the 5th gen? I have a stick and see avg. quickness. I have stock rims, about a 50 pd sub, and I'm a pretty big guy myself. I'm not racing so I'm not takin out seats.
Also, can anyone recommend an OTC fuel injector cleaner? Do they work, afterall? I have 60k miles, stock. |

you can ditch the spare tire and sub... and its free!!! other than that, it's really only for racing purposes. Why do you wanna lose some weight anyway? Not quick enough for you already? hehe

Re: 00' needs diet.
Depends on what you call affordable, but you could always ditch those stock rims and get rid of that heavy hood.

Re: 00' needs diet.
Imagine me on the side of road, with no spare tire. Flats r frustratin enough! Like the other day, I got beat by a DAMN late model VW! Almost any new car (even w/less hp) is comparingly keepin up with me. NOt hundaiys but I havnt tried, for example, new acuras, BMW's, Benzs, Lexus. I don't try against piece of sh"""s. My boy in an auto 96 kept up w/ my stick 00! He had an CAF, maybe a diff, so I'll be upgradin too.
