86 Ford Taurus Station Wagon Stalling

My is a 86 Station Wagon V6 3.0L and sometimes when im comming to a stop my car stalls or tries to stall im car illitereate someone help. its an automatic

Dan I checked out that website how difficult is it to get started and learn what the codes are etc.

it could also be a combination of normal things that need more regularreplacement like spark plugs fuel filter air filter maybe plug wires, your fuel injectors may be clogged, (fuel injector cleaner) somtimes it's nice to try inexpensive items before going all out and buying somthing expensive, or you could take it to a shop and get them to check it for you

First thing to do, is go try it. Once you get used to seeing the codes get flashed out, you can look up what they mean. You'll find code definitions at www.tempotopaz.com just go to the EEC-IV Code link on the left side of the page.

They're available many other places, no doubt, but that one's off the top of my head.

I recommend printing off the instructions on that website, and just go out and try it. Get some experience; it isn't hard! PM me if you have any questions.
