looking to buy an s2000

I was just wondering what people though about buying an s2000. I am looking at 00-03 the only thing is I want to put some parts on the car when I get it and if I get a 2003 I wont have much money to do that with but if I get the 2000 I will. I know there are a few changes in the years but is there anything really better with the 2003 that I should know about and buy the 03 over the 00 or 01? If anyone one has anything that would help it would be great.

There are several of them here. http://www.duderick.com/view_forum.php?id=24 I notice you are from the Chicago area, A friend of mine at this site is selling his. Look for Shift_9k. He can also hook you up with all of the other local owners!
