Unhappy speedometer flicking/wheels

hey guys, thanks for everybodys help with the suspension decision. i have another problem though--my speedometer works but doesn't. sometimes it is fine, but most of the time, i will be traveling at 70 mph for example, and it will drop down to 20, flick back to 70, flick to 50, and constantly flick back and forth, never staying at the right speed. i tried swapping out the speed sensor spindle that bolts into the tranny, but no luck....i have been approximating my speed with the tach ....also, i want to take the 17's (konig caffeines) off my car. the ride is too rough, esp b/c of the low pros. i have good tires on them (Yoko ES 100), but want to step down to a wheel/tire with more cushioning. i have the stock 14's (steel wheels) laying around, so should i put those on? i was thinking i would have better handling/overall ride comfort with maybe some 15's or 16???? maybe some stock rims off a newer civic, or other rims (dress up the car a bit vs. stock 14's with wheel covers)...i was looking for advice, and also anywhere in texas where someone might have something????? moving to virginia, so anyone up there???? maybe trade??? lemme know peeps.....

Re: speedometer flicking/wheels

Sounds like a loose cable or bad fuse. Check the fuse since that's easier.
