Trim Levels
I was looking at a stealth (not sure of the year, but it had pop up headlights so it was pre 95). Anyway, I looked on the back and it didnt have any markings such as RT or RT / TT. Is it definately an ES, or is there a chance it could be an RT? It was a manual if that helps.

It could have been any of them. Some people remove the badging from the car for various reasons and all the versions were available with a manual transmission.
A few clues to look for (assuming the rest of the car is in stock form). If it has duel exhaust, its an RT or RT/TT and a quick look under the hood will tell you which since the RT/TT has those twin turbos in there.

Re: Trim Levels
If it's got the pop-up head lights, its a pre '94
For the stealth's, if it's got the double dual exhausts, it's the Twin Turbo version, the others are hard to tell without badging or tracing the VIN number |

Re: Trim Levels
You could also tell by the tail lights. The ES is similar to the 3000GT ,cept that its all the way across and the RT's tail lights rap up to the top on the sides.
