Question Help with changing to Indiglo gauges on 2000 SL

I just bought my first non-POS car (ie. my other ones had more rust than actual body on it) this year, a 2000 saturn SL manual - rack-n-pinion w/ no power steering. I like the tight handling. Anyways, I am wondering how hard it is to change my factory gauge panel to the indiglo ones. Do the needles just pop out and the sheet slides out after it? does it effect the digital odometer? I am trying to find ways to cheaply "pimp out" my saturn. So far, I just painted the dash and put on some ventvisors, which help out in other ways .
So if anyone can just give me a quick run down changing them, it would be great. ...Also if anyone else has ideas that I can use to make my car look nicer that isn't too expensive. Thanks, Danielle

as i'm told (i've never don't one myself) the needles are the hardist part, some bend easily, but more importently besure the needles are alined right.

guages??????

I have a 2002 SL1 but it should be about the same. When i changed my guages, after you have the whole guage assembly out of dash, the needles pull off. Be carefull as to not break one.....and make sure you note exactly what point they were pointing at on old guage as to keep all reading correct. My idiglo's went right on top of old guages, and they have an opening for odometer, and all the service lights are transparent so it still reads them correctly. Just place new ones over old guages, replace needles and youre set. I just wired my indiglo's into my dimmer switch seeing as you probably wont be needing that hooked up anymore.
Good Luck!
Adam
