Non-turbo Supra V.S. Non-turbo Honda
Supra got owned. I did'nt even launch, and I was shifting 500 RPM before redline 1-2 2-3. It's amazing what a stock GSR can do :P

Umm...where you sure he was racing? 225hp v 198hp...I dont think you blew him away. That would be like me saying my 325i blew away a 330ci.

your giving him too much credit gsrs dont come with 198hp......lower your numbers....

1. Where's the rest of the story 2. Your car can't be bone stock if you pulled that off....mods? Bring back a little information, as your post is confusing.

In the other post he said re "ran a 14.9 with sticky tires and a header" so I assume those are his mods. Remember, he weighs a good 800 lbs less than the supra.

Okay, first, there is no "JDM GSR."...second, no GSR equivelent ever came with "198HP or 210HP"....Period.
Now, the JDM eqivalent is the Interga SiR. That motor is coded the B18C, the same as the JDM Type-R. However, despite the same code, the motors ARE DIFFERENT!!! -The stock JDM Type-R has about 200HP @ the crank (a little more than the USDM B18C5 Type-R), a 10.6:1 c/r and a Red Vavle cover. -The stock JDM SiR (their equivelent to the GSR) has 176HP @ the crank and a Black Valve Cover (vs. 170HP @ the crank in the USDM B18C1 GSR). It also has slightly higher C/R than the USDM equivelent, 10.6:1 to 10.4:1. The JDM SiR, equivelent to the GSR, NEVER had "210HP or 198HP", at the crank or at the wheels. No GSR equivelent ever did, anywhere. You are confusing the fact the SiR code and Type-R code are the same, dispite them being different motors. |

-wheres the story? -Supra gettin owned? well that SUpra musta ben not havin a good driver, cuz here in Minnesota, i've see a Supra non-turbo kill a GSR/Type-R Civics my good friend
