Body Kits

So does any one know of a good site were i can go and see like all or almost all of the front bumpers for the eclipse. So i can make a informed decision as to what one is the best.

Also the talon head lights in a eclipse front bumper, they fit right? they just have a gap where the eclipse light goes up at the diffrent angle

ok

DUDE OK LISTEN dont get a body kit. Its never going to fit right your going to have to do so much custom work like brackets . When you get it it will look as if somebody took fiberglass and cut it out with a pocketknife dude it comes so crappily done so unless you want a lot of work your going to end up having a big gap where your lights on it wont fit right to everything. I got one myself it took me 2 weeks and 10 different brackets later to make it look decently ok with no gaps. Same thing happend with like 3 or 4 of my friends that got them. Do not get a body kit so much work dude its not worth it. unless you want it to not fit right and hang crapy with gaps.

Body Kits just like any other product out there. You have a few good makers and there are 100's of other companies out there that make garbage.......I have installed many kits and fiber glass ones there are always fitment issues they never just fit perfectly. Urethane kits are alot better with fitment becuase they are alot more flexible.

Just remember YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Ive been to andys auto sports before but there is a whole bunch that ive never seen before like the black widow, sensei, and big moulth.

Is there any kits that look like the kombat or the street fighter? All the other kits are a bit gaudy for my taste.

Re: Body Kits

Blitz body kits seem to fit nicely. But you can be original and by a different brand, just make sure they're trustworthy

If you found that on ebay dont get it unless you want to spend another grand to get it fitted.

Ok

The only kit you should buy is an offical Blitz kit not all the cheap copy cats. And when i say offical Blitz kit i mean from the offical Blitz company but that is like 600 dollars for the front bumper alone. If you buy a full kit off the internet for 300 its going to pretty much come as 1 big block of fiber glass and a plastic knife and fork with a picture of how your suppose to hand carve it out yourself.

Re: Body Kits

This past weekend I helped a friend put on some new fenders from aerotrends. One side fit perfect... The other side took 3 trys to find something that came close to fitting. Now, if I want to ride in his car, I have to go through the window, cause the fenders come out to far. I told him it was ok, and people with think its cool cause its like a race car.

He has to climb through the windows because of his fenders?????? Tell him to send them back. I dont know about anyone else in here but I like the use of my doors. ....But thats the risk you run sometimes with mods like fenders and body kits....The company he baught them from should replace them if they are a respectable place. Or he could have the fenders corrected by someone who is good at fiberglass work...But it will probobly cost him as much as the fenders.....
