'93 quadra trac question
Hey, I was wondering if I took off my front driveshaft off of my 93 Limited with 5.2 quadratrac and make my jeep 2wd, would that hurt the tranny because I heard some people say that that transfer case feeds off the front but some said it doesnt so I was hoping to get some of your opinions on this. Thanks

Re: '93 quadra trac question
dont do it. i heard its only advisable on 96-up models. even with the jeep in park it will roll, unless e brake applied. on the upside u might gain some mpg.

is that the only thing it will do? as you can tell I have the good old vc problem with my jeep. I love it to death and the engine is strong and dry as a bone with leaking problems. with 155,000 on it, it runs great other than the tc. Is it possible to put in a selectrac tc in place of the quadratrac and if so, do you know what one?
