When I lived in Japan, it was my 2nd favorite car [after GT-R of course ] .... I really really like the FTO except for the fact that it needs a little more power.
Here are some pics of it:

I love the FTO also. Too bad I can't get one here in the US.

Kinda like a pocket Supra. It's all about the FTO LM from Gran Turismo, the green one.

The FTO LM car from GT is great, the Black one on GT2 is almost as good. I wish we got those things here.

Those are the first good pictures of it I've seen. It must be a huge chick magnet. Some mods, 500 hp (ok, mybe 400 would be good), and leave that body alone, its GORGEOUS!!

My cousin has one here in the UK, and I have driven it! Great tiptronic gearbox!
The looks are controversial! I feel his really needs bigger wheels, but great prospects!

Such a large chick magnet that only Chicks drive them. They are regarded as girls cars over here, and are driven almost exclusivly by middle aged woman.

Talking Whats it all about

Hey there. Just found this site by accident, and as you can see from my name, I indeed own an FTO! ( and I also just wanted to say that I am NOT middle aged by any stretch of the imagination!!!! :silly2: )

Just wanted to let you know a little about the car that I own......

If you have a look at my website link below: http://moondog.250x.com/fto_main.html this will tell you a little more about it.

The FTOs come with different specs. Mine is the top of the standard range with a 2L V6 MIVEC engine. It has 197HP standard from its NA engine. However as you were talking about earlier, the FTO can be made into a turbo (however it costs a LOT of money to do so). HKS have produced an aftermarket bolt on turbo kit for the FTO. It is something I would LOVE to do to mine, however I just need $10K to do so!!!!

The other versions of the FTO that were made were the GP Version R (the same engine as mine but with LSD). They also made the GR (2L non MIVEC) and the GS (1.8L non MIVEC). All models are available as either manual or sequential auto.

All I can say is this is one helluva car!!! It handles superbly and the body styling is quite simply SEXY AS!!!

Anyhow I just wanted to let you know a little bit more about this superb sports coupe and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I'll do my best to answer them!!!
