What to expect from 91/92 LS400

I am looking for a reliable soft riding car for my wife. LS400 comes to mind, but I am not sure what to expect from this vehicle. I know it is very reliable new, but after 200k who knows… Any specific things I should look for when selecting one?

The only thing you might want to be concerned about is that the lexus has a $4000 suspension on it. Unfortiantly, the only place you can go to get the replacement OE parts is at the dealer. However, I wouldn't let that scare you away as there are several new companies out there now that have aftermarket replacements to coil-over suspension. Other than that it's the perfect car.

Re: What to expect from 91/92 LS400

I have a 91 LS-400 115k miles. The car just oozes quality to me. One thing I love is that the engine temp is constant under any conditions, idle, running, --anything. I love mine .... er my wife's.
