Talking Sell my Fox-body and buy a Cobra, help please.

A guy came up to me and wants to buy my car. I'll probably sell it. But i wouldnt be able to get over not having a mustang so............another mustang it is! I'm looking toward the SN-95 models. I really love the car itself but not the performance. I know that the GT's only come with 215 horsepower at the crank. Which turns out to be like 175-180 horses at the wheels. Which is pathetic, worse than my car. So i'm leaning toward a Cobra.

But the problem is i have NO idea about Cobra's so here's is where i need you guys to help me out. I guess just fill in the blanks.

1994 Cobra __ horsepower and ____ torque . 1/4 mile in ____
1996 Cobra __ horsepower and ____ torque. 1/4 mile in ____
These cars cost _______ with around 70,000 to 80,000 miles. And are in good condition.
Thanks guys. And if any of you have a SN-95 Cobra then please tell me what you think of it.

Re: Sell my Fox-body and buy a Cobra, help please.

well...in my opinion 240hp (sn94&95 cobra, i think the 96 had 260hp?) isnt much to brag about either, and do remember how well 5.0 are known to respond to simple bolt ons...yeah the gt might be slower but it is def cheaper than the COBRA, you could buy the gt over the cobra and save a grand or two there and simply put that 2 grand into your gt and youve got one pretty quick gt depending on where you spent that cash money.... just my opinion

Re: Sell my Fox-body and buy a Cobra, help please.

Yeah, but that 2 grand will barely buy you the Cobra brake system, plus with a Cobra you get a better looking front end, a heavier T-5, and factory white face guages w/160 Speedo.

First mods: gears, full exhaust, CAI, TwEECer. It is very easy to wake up a Cobra. Stock they'll run a mid to high 14 depending on the driver.
