nippon pistons

i was looking around and i seen a set of nippon pistons going for a cheap price. are they any good? i'll probably just wait a couple a months and get some oem type r pistons if you guys say the nippons suck

Do not get JE pistons for sport compacts, you will be way better off with Arias

"Arias is the only aftermarket forged piston manufacturer that does actual R&D on pistons. Most importantly, piston skirt profiles are correct for each engine. Have you ever used a set of "Brand J" pistons and upon removal of your pistons find the skirts destroyed and black colored? Stop using pistons from companies that specialize V8s and only make pistons using V8 theories" Quote from XS-Engineering
