I have a '96 Nissan Maxima that's making a knocking sound. It's coming from the front of the vehicle. The sound appears to be corresponding with the tire rotation.
It only makes the sound when I am in drive, not when I'm idling. If I press the brakes, the sound disappears. My friends have suggested a problem with the front brakes. If so, what would be causing the brakes to produce that sound when they're not being pressed? Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |
