I recently purchased a 2000 town and country, it runs and drives great. Yesterday thought the abs light came on followed by the alarm light and engine light and all of a sudden the tach, speedometer, gas gauge, oil gauge and temp gauge dropped to zero and wouldn't work. The van kept driving fine with no problems and all of a sudden all of the warning lights went off except the engine light and all of the gauges started working again. It has done it two more times. I am wondering if anybody has any ideas what may be causing this and how to fix it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you! |

Dashboard
My 200 T&C is at the dealership now being repaired becuase the engine light came on and the speedometer stopped working. A new computer was installed but the engine light stayed on. Now it is a vacuum blah blah and $990.00 total so far.

Re: 2000 T&C dashboard problems
true virgo girl & Terrylo,
We have a 2001 T&C. Just today this happened to me. I was waiting at the light when all the gauges stopped working and went to zero! The van was running fine and I drove into a parking lot, turned it off, waited a few minutes, cranked it back up and they were all back on like nothing happened. I am having some MAJOR problems with this van! It's our first Chrysler and unless the dealership helps.........it will be our last! Do we need to replace the computer? Thanxxxxx |
