96 Geo Tracker Window

First Time Poster..hello..i Need Some Help Or Advise..i Have A 1996 Goe Tracker 2 Door. The Driver Side Window Will Not Rollup Or Down Right. I Have Had The Window Regulator Replaced Because The Cable Broke. But It Was Doing It Before It Broke. We Thought It Was Not In The Regulator Right At First And Relind It. It Worked Great For A While Then It Starts Going Off Track Again. Mainly When You Roll It Up. It Gets Almost To The Top And Starts To Get Out Of Line And Gets Real Tight Feeling Towards The Front Of The Window. I Have Only Owned The Tracker For About 1 Year And It Did Not Do This When I Bought It. Well It Was A Little Hard To Roll Up When You Got To The Top Of The Window. Acts Like The Front Of The Window Seal Is To Tight. I Don't Know Alot About These Things So If Anyone Can Help Me Out. I Really Don't Want To Take It To A Shop If It Is Something I Can Fix At Home To Save Some Money. Sorry So Long.....

Re: 96 Geo Tracker Window

I have a 95 Tracker that had the same problem. You need to remove the inside door panel and there will be two screws that align the window. Once, you re-align the window. I would suggest you put grease or some kind of lubricant on the inside of the rubber where the window rides. That seems to help alot.
