interior trim replacement?

What's the best place to buy interior trim replacement for a '94 525i? Specifically, the wood trim on the glove box and the gear shift knob need to be replaced. Thanks for the help!

Re: interior trim replacement?

If you cant find it there, which I wasnt able to your best bet it just to shell out the cash and go to the dealer. You dont need them to install it, it is so simple you wouldnt belive it. Take a screw dirver and stick it being the molding, then just pry it out. It has about 4 little clips that hole it in and they come out fairly easy. The new one just pops back in the same way the old one came out.

Re: Re: interior trim replacement?

Thanks Antiburn, I'll probably visit a dealer next month when I'm back in the States. The BMW dealers here are WAY more expensive for parts than back home. By the way, I'm still searching for someplace on the car that indicates the year. Maybe it will just remain a mystery. Are there any obvious design changes from '91 through '94 I can look for?

Thanks again! Oh, and how's the Caddie roadster doing?

Re: interior trim replacement?

Driver side door B pillar. There should be 2 stickers there that will tell you everything you want to know about the car. If you dont have stickers the headlights might be different on the years, im not sure on that.

And I just replaced the valve cover gaskets on my caddy. The old ones were hard as well you know what, so oil just sprayed everywhere. Thanks for asking.

Thanks Steve,

Only one plate on the door pillar, and it doesn't have dates. I'll check the headlights. Make sure you put up those "good" pics of the caddy you promised!
