all right i finally got my car running today a littel rough but it runs now the only problem is when i go to drive the car it feels like i have no power at all i can step on the gas and the rpms will slowly come up but the car dosnt want to go it will get up to about 10 mph and thats alli beleave it may be 2 trings the clutch plate is not torqued down properly or i took the butterfly valves off the tvis could it be one of thoes things any help will really mean a lot

ok well before anyone can help we need more info. The revs slowly going up probably means it's not the clutch. sounds like its in limp mode.... are the check engine lights coming on? how did you get rid of TVIS? any other changes recently? was there something wrong with the engine you were doing when you decided to remove the TVIS?

on the tvis there are littel butterfly valves i took them off and put my intake back on i left the tvis vacume hoses all hooked up,none of the check engine lights are on no changes and nothing was wrong with the engine before

Have You Checked The Ignition??? My Distibuter Stuffs Up And Mine Does That... But It Still Sounds Like Limp Mode...

how can you get out of limp mode and the distributor is newer than the old one

if you've changed the distributor i'd definately be checking the contacts and the seal to make sure its sitting right...

well i finally fixed it i had to set the distriubtor one tooth at a time ti get it in time it runs alot better not a lot of lag but there needs to be more adjustments ill have to put up some of my picts later thanks for the help fellas

ok...what do you mean by lag? thats usually associated with turbo but yours is n/a right?

all ight the car runs now when its warm but when i try to start it in the morning it is a real bitch i got a videor of it
