Havin a bad weekend.
My hood sits suspended in mid air by wires in my shop at the dealership while we have monsooon season out there and my poor cars engine is gettin soaked , someone stole my power steering pump cap , my woman took off , Im poor and I cant bring my dog to live in town with me. Damn!! Hard time hard times.

why wasnt the engine bay covered in the first place, and stored in a garage or some where protected so nothing would have been stolen. most of all that could have been advoided with just 5 minutes of proper planning.

Well..sounds like your weekend has sucked...next time...five minutes spent with a roll of duct tape and a few garbage bags, can save your ass in the long run
