who is right?

My check engine light came on this morning so I took my baby to Autozone and had the guys there hook up a reader to see what the problem was. The reader said bad O2 sensor. When I went inside to find out the price the guy told me it was $65.00 per sensor and I needed 2 sensors. Being that i'm not that rich I went home with no sensors. When I got home I started reading my Haynes manual and according to it, the GA only has one O2 sensor. Who is right?

97 GASE 3.1 V6

Re: who is right?

well guys, the whole question of the O2 sensor is moot now. My car was trashed when a 18 wheeler ran me off the road and totaled my car. Thank God I wasn't hurt that bad, but I think I'm gonna go and get that Monte Carlo Supercharged SS now.

Re: who is right?

First off , glad your ok.
Why the heck would a 18 wheeler run you off the road? What did your insurance company say?
What will your insurance company say when you get a quote for the ss?

Re: who is right?

must be something with 18 wheelers not liking GA's. I took a trip to Ocean City, MD this past june and on the way home i was run onto the shoulder of the interstate by one. No damage but definitly scared the hell outa me! Guess he didnt see me haha.

Re: who is right?

the cops already stated that the accident was the truckers fault. I was in the passing lane on I-20 and he was in the slow lane. He claims he didn't see me when he attempted to switch lanes, so I'm gonna get a quick 100K settlement out of this one.

how are you going to get a quick 100K settlement? Don't you just get the value of your totaled car?

Re: who is right?

You can get money for a lot of stuff in an accident. property damages, bodily damages, missed work. If he got hurt, bodily damages is probably where most of it will come from

Re: who is right?

i suffered 2 broken ribs, a broken leg and a moderate concussion. i've already retained a attorny and the insurance company is already offering a settlement. not as much as I want, but i give them 3 weeks and i'll have my money.
