Subaru Legacy

Ok i was on my way home from work and i pulled up beside i nice looking subaru my first thought was that it was a wrx so i started jammin' to my music then i looked at the back as it pulled ahead a lil and i saw legacy on the back...when did the legacy become 4 door that wasn't a wagon i thought the legacy only came in wagon form. can any give me some info on what happened here?

The Legacy has been a sedan since it came out in 1990. The new-for-2005 Legacy also comes with the STi's turbo 2.5 (detuned to 250 hp and 250 ft-lb of torque).

They're pretty damn reliable, performance on the new turbocharged one is about the same as the WRX, but the handling isn't quite as good. The used ones come with a N/A 4-cylinder engine only, and they don't perform very well.
