K&N Air Filter...Worth it?

Im considering getting a k&n air filter. I'd love to hear from anyone that has one...is there any considerable difference? Or is it just a scam?

if you are talking about the air filter for your stock airbox then no, you really won't notice any difference in performance. About the only benifit of having a K&N for you stock airbox is never having to buy an air filter again....that is if you keep it clean.

Re: K&N Air Filter...Worth it?

I got one about 1,000 miles ago and I'll tell you that there wasn't any difference in power. However, the car is much more responsive though, especially in stop-and-go traffic. Would I buy one again? Yeah because I won't ever have to buy one again as SEMatt pointed out and my car's driveability has increased.

Totally AGREE. In the stock air box, i didn't see any performance difference at all. Note, this is just in this car, in my integra i noticed a big change. But if u still like, I'll sell u mine in great condition, less than 200 miles on it.

i think that you will be able to notice the difference in smaller engines like your Teg, which is a 4 cylinder. In a larger engine such as the VQ30, it requires a large volume of air to begin with compared to a 4 cylinder, that putting in a high flow filter like the K&N in your airbox is just letting a small amount more to flow in which won't make a noticeable difference. Or i could just be talking out of my azz.
