Question Turbocharge a v6???

Alright here are my specs for my car:

upgrades to engine and car:

bored and polished 173cc (s) v6 engine
performance cam
performance lifters 6" lift
performance pistons, bearings and everything inside block is performance
accel coil (50,000 v output)
accel 300+ wire set
100amp alternator
3" tailpipe system with flowmaster performance muffler
bosch platinum spark plugs gapped .40

Question: do they make a turbocharger for my v6? If not, is there any way I can boost my power output by adding one, and is it possible? If needed, I can take my air conditioning system off for space, but there is alot of room in the front for the turbocharger. Not running air pump (taken off along with all its attachments)

Re: Turbocharge a v6???

well I'l havta hand it to you.. you'd havta be the only person ive ever heard of thats decided to mod a 2.8.. And it looks like you went pretty far with it.. Good luck with your project.. Ide like to see what a built 2.8 can do!

But, I cant say as ive ever seen anyone thats made a turbo kit for it.. You could look at a Remote mount turbo (i dont suggest them) Or custom your own turbo into the car..

fist of all, if you are going to turbocharge this engine, GET RID OF THE PLATNUM PLUGS!!!!! and cut the gap to like .35 second of all, what lifter has 6" of lift

What is your compression raito, how are you going to control your fuel, what size injectors do you have, how much boost do you want to run, what cam is in this engine?

Re: Turbocharge a v6???

no one makes a turbo setup for any v-6 camaro. if you have ever seen one than it was completely one-off. all and all it would prolly cost around 7 or 8 grand to do a turbo job on a maro, depending on your logistical abilities. i was thinking about it for about a week, and was gonna model the system off of the TPI setup that diablo put a link to. i decided to scrub the idea cause its a little more involved than what i am lookin to do...
