Denatures Alchol

Hey guys.. I have heard that Denatured alchol is the acuall ahchol that they out in cars (sprints, dragsters, etc)

Is this true? And will the "smell" be the same as when you can smell it at the races??

Acually... to make it easier, the stuff that fuels jr. dragsters... what is it? is it just denatured alchol?

Would it be possible to put it in a small weed wacker engine (lets say though the sparkplug hole, since it will freeze up the rubber on the carb ?

Thanks

Re: Denatures Alchol

Most alcohol running racing cars are using methanol, a few use ethanol.
