Tein S-type springs
One of my friends recently ordered Teins springs and put them on his '90 240. He wrecked soon after. Hes seems to want to blame the accident on the springs. He says they are really bouncy and the way it sounds is that they preloaded and shot him further sideways than he already was... So my question, has anyone else experienced any bad crap happening with their Tein Type-S Springs?
By the way, i told him to get HEs anyways...the only obvious answer. |

Re: Tein S-type springs
i have them..and i have no problems..not bouncy at all but then again changed my shocks/struts like i was supposed to.was ur friend running them with blown shocks/struts? cus thats the only thing that would cus them to bounce i think..if so, u cant blame the company cus he never changes his shocks when he was supposed to..also, sounds like he was trying to whip a turn or sumting to have caused the accident..maybe its his driving and the condition of the car rather than the springs..

Re: Tein S-type springs
he replaced shocks, and no he wasnt trying to drift. he was at 30 mph, and they buckled around the corner. either truck head on or a tree. he chose the tree, because that truck was big.
