Hello...I been trying to turn off my daytime running light without success.. Help...When I turn on car and release parking brake all my lights come on(not the fog lamps, those do not work at all).. Please help..Thank you....

I try http://macgp.clubgp.com/howto/appearance/drl/drl.htm follow instructions there but it did not work.. My DRL still coming on....99 GT Grand Prix

I did it on my 2000 gt. I just pulled the little plastic cover off on my dash where the drivers door is, and right there in the dash you will see a silver hetsink, just unplug the harness that goes into and presto, no more DRL. That is basically the (resistor)control unit for dimming the headlights not to be on at full brightness, when disconnected it kills the DRL circuit

I did that but mine still running.... Full lights, not just the head lamps...Any other suggestions..Please....

Did u try pulling the heatsink harness and the DRL fuse in the glove box???
Are u driving an 01 GP?? |

plus if your teseting this out at nighttime your automatic lights will come on just because it's night. I pulled the harness out of my heatsink on my 2000 and that solved the DRL, but won't interfere with the automatic light turn-on.
