tire width of 245 with 18's on a 98 eclipse
I'm looking at a set of konig absolute 18" with 245/45/18. I wanted to know if these will fit on a 98 eclipse. they are coming off a 01 eclipse with no issues. I asked the seller about offset and am waiting for an answer but thought i'd put a thread out to see what offset i would need and even if this large of rim and tire will work on a 98 eclipse. any help would be appreciated. Thnx.

i think they might be too big for 2g. 225/40/18 is already boarder lining mine.

 here's more info directly copied from vfaq. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/macross/2Gfitment.html looks like it won't fit.

i got 235/40/18s on mine. the wheel is 18x8 and fits rather nicely. i can take a pic and post it for you. just tell me what angle...and wait until the sun comes back up.
i know you wanted 245, but you should be able to get an idea with the 8" width and 235...
