OBC says "check coolant level...see owners manual"

I went through a series of head scratching episodes over the coolant level warning on the OBC. This is the link to my story.

Hope this helps anyone with this problem.

BMW says that over 60% of the returned sensors were not defective but the float was just sticking in the down position.
