the ride home never gets old

OK, so adopting the popular trend of cliff notes...they will be at the bottom for those of you who don't wish to read what will probably be a pretty long post.

Ok, so coming home from work, a coworker is driving a lightly modified sentra, and I'm in my vr4. We are waiting at a turn, and a porsche goes by...now I'm sure you can guess what I did. So after a bit of a catchup game, I start nearing him, and he starts accelerating. So instead of lining up at 60, I floor it too. 3rd gear hit 4k, and I passed the guy as he is trying to impress his girl. But just a bit ahead we have to slow down for a light. We get up next to each other...(sentra finally catches up) And this guy starts talking sh!t. He's like "You are gonna need more than that to beat this"
Me: Why what you got...turbod?
Him: No, but I got AWD
Me(smiling): So do I
Him: You wanna run
Me: Sure
Him: YOu're gonna get your a$$ kicked
Me(smirking): We'll see

So I rev on him, as we are waiting for green, he turns over and says
"Nah I'm just kidding, I have to take my girl over there(motions as he is making a right turn) But nice car though"
Me: Thanks (internal voice had a 5 letter word in mind)
So he turns right on red, well the sentra was behind him, so he let me in and I take the turn, because that is the way home, but I was gonna go straight just to race.

So the porsche turns off, and I lost interest, so we start heading home, drive for awhile. Finally I see a white mustang gt, and I was in the mood to race, so I try and catch up...pissing off plenty of other drivers in the process. Well I catch him at a light, but we have cars in front of us. I turn down my music and hear someone in a car behind us talking about the 2 of us racing, and how the stang is gonna win. So, I smile over at the stang driver and passenger and they are smiling back until the passenger reads the nice little twin turbo badge near my window aloud. Then follows it with a &^$%. So traffic sucks and we keep trying to go, he gets the fast lane and I get cutoff by somebody who was actually doing the speed limit. So he gets through a light, and I get stuck. So now I'm determined. Light turns green, traffic moves, I get through and race after him. Catch him a few miles down the road. The passenger waves his hand to congratulate me or something. So we go from a few different speeds rolls and I took him everytime...everytime. But it was fun. So then traffic approaches again, and we start weaving at 100ish(kids don't try this at home). Now everyone on the road hates us. But we get through and go again...I win. So it comes to my turn and I wave bye, but he does a 3 lane change and pulls into the turning lane behind me, so we have a clear road. Well as we are waiting for our turning arrow, everyone caught up and honked or gave us an assortment of non-friendly gestures...a few of which I returned(yeah I'm a jerk) We take the turn, and take off, and goodbye, I put a few cars between us, but then slowed down again for traffic, they caught up, did the thumbs up type thing, and turned off. It was a damn good time coming home (although I wish I could have raced that porsche from a stop). It always seems there are an abundance of cars to race everytime. So, that is it.

Cliff notes:
Going home, pass porsche, guy talks trash, then backs down and turns($%&$), mustang gt 4.6L and vr4 weave through traffic like $%&#heads, I win multiple pulls, everyone on road hates us...end

AWWW! I wanted to hear how you raced the Porsche (what kind was it? Boxter or Carrera or what?). Nice kill on the stang though! What mods do you have in your ride?

Porsches are to men what prada is to women.... of course there are those few women who like fast cars and a few men who like purses . They are the top quality in materials and such but most of the price is the name.

I wish I knew my porsches better. It wasn't a boxster, I wanna say carrara, but I'm not 100% sure. It looked pretty new, but may have been a few years old.
