Hi everyone,
I am going to replace my brake pads soon. I bought some Raybestos Quiet Stop for my 2k1 maxima. The pad sets came with some small shims. The stock pads have inner and outer shims (front) The shims came with pads are small compare to the stock shims. My question is should I just use the shims come with pads? Is it ok to just use the new shims? Or I should still use the old outer shims? |

Re: Brake pad replace questions
I just replaced mine for the 2nd time with Bendix. Normal wear. Use the shims they supply and don't forget to use the anti-squeal on the shims.
