99 Camaro won't start

I could use some help. 99 Camaro 3.8 liter car has sat for a month. Went to start engine, cranks well but no light off. No cylinders fire.
Can smell a little fuel, pulled a spark plug wire, no spark while cranking.
Chiltons manual no help. Checked all fuses under hood and wiring. System uses a distributorless ignition system. Called several GM dealers and asked if I brought the Power Control Module in could they test it. All said no, they only check it if is in the car which I would have to tow in. Autozone has replacement PCMs for $150, but they can not test mine. Only recent work on car was the removal of the shift consol in preporation for dropping trans for a clutch replacement due to a leaking rear engine main bearing seal after switching to synthetic engine oil. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks

Re: 99 Camaro won't start

well, youve already determined you have no spark, thats why its not starting. youll have to test back down the wiring for the coil packs till you find where the power starts and stops. probly a loose connector, or a damaged harness grounding out to the chassis.
