Splitfire Plugs

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the splitfire plugs work. I know the claims are better mileage and more power. But if all products did what they claimed we wouldnt nee commercials to sell them.

Re: Splitfire Plugs

I've tried them in my '92 S-10 and didn't notice any difference. At that time I paid $6.00 each. Not again tho!!!!

Re: Splitfire Plugs

I've always been told to stick with good 'ole AC Delco for $1.75 each. Think about it, even if you have 2 or 4 prongs on the plug, you still only have one spark. And even if there was an additional Horsepower, it wouldn't be nearly enough to notice, maybe only noticeable on a dyno, and the increase would be next to nothing. And There'd be no increase in mileage. It's just a ploy to get your cash. And it works on many people that believe what they hear in commercials.

In the end, they aren't worth the extra money. Stay stock on this one.
