greddy intercooler piping and greddy type s

I have a boost gauge/air fuel gauge and intake...it was fun for a month, and now it is time for more . I was thinking about getting the greddy upper and lower intercooler piping kit and a greddy type S bov.

Questions:
1) how much hp is expected from this
2) will I have any boost problems with bigger ic pipes
3) is there any place you know that i can get them both for less than 380.00 (prefer new but used is fine)...I have been lookin for good deals everywhere but im always too late, so i decided to bite the bullet cause im sick of waiting.

Thanks alot ~ Joel

Re: greddy intercooler piping and greddy type s

You could skip out on all the bullshit greddy brand names, and get a RRE or dejon upper pipe, skip lower pipe, and whatever BOV fits your fancy...

It will add a little power, there are no dyno charts for each mod.

Re: greddy intercooler piping and greddy type s

the dejon tool uicp is 200 bux with a type s flange, and a whole greddy upper pipe and lower pipe is the same price...so y not get the name brand and the lower intercooler pipe?

I guess my main question is will I have to change any boost setting with the new bigger pipes?

One of my friends here made his own UICP using this guide right here.. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57364

They turned out great and I like it so much I'll probably end up doing that too!

Your boost shouldn't change with 2 1/4 pipes.

Re: greddy intercooler piping and greddy type s

i got GReddy piping, Type s BOV, strut bar, and a K$N FIPK from ebay for $300 used. Just got the stuff instaled yesterday.

I know HOW to adjust the BOV, but what setting should i chose? Its not like a water faucet, where one extreme is hot the other is cold, and you can only turn the handle till it stops....i started hardening it and it wouldnt come to a stop point, i figured maybe it come right out so i stopped....help? (stockT-25 no MBC yet)
