Re: xbox or ps2

I'd use a PS2 if it was just for DVD's, but for gaming too I'd go with an Xbox. PS2 would be much easier to find a place for in your car though.

Re: xbox or ps2

I'd say xbox, although u have to buy the remote to play dvds its well worth it, who cars how big it is, you can store several cds on it, i love it, i can sit here have all my music stored on my xbox, put it all under 1 cd, and just hit play, and it plays through all 212 songs that i have on it atm. XBOX > PS2 for that fact.

Re: xbox or ps2

I will have to say Xbox too. It's got everything the ps2 has, plus you can load cd's on it. It's like having a cd changer with out having all the cd's in it.............fISH

I love my xbox, but for in a car I'd get PS2, one of the new small ones that just came out.

Re: xbox or ps2

i'd put an xbox in the car - you can put in a way bigger harddrive (like 120 gigs instead of the 8 or 10 the unit came with) and store a hella buncha mp3s on it. Plus, gameplay is clearer on the thing. However, it is pretty big and i doubt it'd fit under your seat lol. I have an xbox and i cannot find a place to mount the dang thing so you can have access to it, unless u custom mount it. If you're looking to just play games and easy installation, get a ps2. If you're looking for your all-in-one jukebox, dvd player, and game player, and you want to deal with placing this big box in your car, go with xbox.

Bill Gates is god! lol jk

Re: xbox or ps2

the only reason i would buy xbox is for halo. xbox is too big, the ps2 is more compact.

Re: xbox or ps2

If your going to be putting a game system into a car keep in mind that the older PS2 and the XBOX use a floating disc system and if you use the systems with the car moving you have the chance to scratch both the disc and laser lens. The new (smaller) PS2 uses a mounted disc system however solving that problem.

Before you decide... just ask yourself, do you really want to be replacing game discs and dvds, and possibly your systems every once in a while or not?
