engine pull out or drop down?
i have a 94 tsi and the engine is blown. i want to drop a new motor and tranny in together. has anyone ever PULLED the engine and tranny together out the top or does it have to be DROPPED out the bottom??? looks like it needs to be dropped but im not sure. :-D

keep the trans and engien bolted together. put the car on jackstands as igh as possible. then put a jack under the engine/trans lift it an inch or so to take the weight off the mounts unbolt the mounts and drop it out the bottom. you might want to pull your axles first to make it easier
